About Us

Hi I'm Allison the founder of Allison's Sewing Studio! We are a small Canadian based home business in Kitchener Ontario. I am a mom of 3 and a wife to a wonderful husband who has supported me from the start. I started originally as a baby bedding, quilt and accessory business in 2006. As my children grew my interests changed. Over the last year I have taken my business into a whole new direction, creating dog collars, leashes, hand bags and many other accessories for you and your pups. Being a family that loves the outdoors enjoying our trailer, boating and walking the beach with our 2 large dogs, one who is prone to hot spots. I wanted a product that would dry quick, and not irritate his skin, that were strong, stylish, that would be easy to clean the sand off of and that wouldn't stink when wet. Having a sister that is a dog lover and has many dogs of her own, she introduced me to biothane! That's when I started creating a fun colourful pet line that would be lasting, and made with quality products. 

About Our Product!

All of our products are made with high quality hardware, fabrics and BioThane® which is the strongest material available on the market for collars and leashes. Its a PVC coated polyester webbing material that feels like broken-in leather but without the maintance; it is soft, comfortable and does not chafe. In addition, BioThane® is stink-proof, waterproof, durable & holds its flexibility in cold weather and will last for years. Is's super easy to clean just wipe with a cloth or soak in soapy water. Our BioThane® durable pet gear is great for every season, weather and adventure you and your pup may take.
