PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Adjustable martingale collar is made similar to the basic martingale but features and adjustable slide that is a great choice for growing dog. This collar enhances control and safety, preventing your dog from slipping out while providing a gentle correction when they pull on the lead. Ideal for training and everyday walks, it combines functionality with comfort, ensuring your pet remains secure and stylish.
Before making a purchase using a soft measuring tape have your dog sit and measure around the widest part of your dogs head and neck. Your martingale collar or slip collar should slip over your dogs head comfortably. You should be able to fit a couple of fingers under the measuring tape.
All of our BioThane® collars are handmade to order, our collars are durable and have a soft PVC coated polyester webbing material that feels like broken- in leather but without the maintance. It is soft, comfortable and does not chafe. In addition, BioThane® is stink-proof, waterproof, durable & holds its flexibility in cold weather and are extremely easy to wash - just use soap and warm water.
When measuring your dogs neck, it is best to provide a snug measurement, especially if you're wanting more of a custom size. Your dog will fluctuate in weight, grow, and be using the collar for numerous reasons. Ideally, the collar should sit in one of the middle 3 of the 5 holes on the collar. Processing and Shipping
All orders containing ONLY ready to ship items typically ship within 3 business days. At the time production times may vary but I average up to 2-4 weeks for orders containing custom order items, but this can increase AT ANY TIME depending on number of orders received! Please keep this in mind when placing an order. We operate with 1 person making all orders by hand. We appreciate your kindness and understanding.
We will have your order ready to ship in approximately 14 business days. However, due to the nature of custom orders, this time may vary. Processing may take longer than 14 business days. We will communicate with you if your order is going to take longer to process.
Made to Order Items include - collars, leashes, bandanas, bow ties, toys, poop bags, other bags and clothes
Ready to Ship Items include any items in the ready to ship section or listed as ready to ship.
If you place large orders or multiple orders, your processing time will may be extended. Getting supplies for larger orders takes more time, and if you have placed multiple orders, there may be other orders placed in between your orders, that will need to be processed as well. I try to get orders out as fast as possible.
We reserve the right to make changes to our processing times at any time.
We offer $12 shipping within Canada + the US. All shipping is tracked and you will receive a tracking number once your order ships. Please allow up to 14 business days for your order to be delivered, especially during peak times.

Hardware
Our choices of hardware includes; stainless steel, solid brass, brass plated, nickel plated, and black powder coated. All hardware will wear over time will chip if not taken care of properly. Best way to keep your hardware looking its best is to thoroughly dry the hardware after it gets wet. See Hardware for samples

Care instructions
BIOTHANE
Biothane material is a waterproof and is long lasing. It requires little upkeep most dirt can be cleaned easily when cleaned regularly either wipe with a cloth, disinfectant wipe or soak with a mild detergent . Scrub for more difficult stains. Biothane is not entirely stain resistant.
HARDWARE
Over time the hardware will begin to show signs of wear. The Nickel Plated, and Black Plated hardware will change color, chip or peal over time this is normal. with the exception of solid brass and stainless steel. These problems are only cosmetic and they do not affect the hardware's long-term durability. It's normal for tarnish it happen and it can stain your dog's fur, biothane and straps on bags. Tarnish is gunk that builds up on hardware over time. Washing collar on a regular basis is the best way to avoid this from happening. It is important to dry off the metal hardware after it gets wet when the gear is in use. Tis will prevent hardware from rusting. Keep in mind that harsh cleansers and detergents can damage hardware's finish and discolor the Biothane.
